Quince Maternity Clothes: My Haul, Reviewed!

Last Updated on June 19, 2025 by travelingwithsunscreen

For my first pregnancy, I tried to just get the cheapest, most basic maternity clothes I could find. I figured I’d only be wearing them for a short time, and so it didn’t really matter. But for my second pregnancy, I had a new strategy in mind – I wanted to buy high-quality maternity clothes that would also work as non-maternity clothes, so that I could keep wearing them for years to come! With that in mind, I got myself a haul of Quince maternity clothes in preparation for a babymoon to Greece. Here’s what I loved (and what I didn’t).

Organic Cotton Gauze Tiered Maxi Dress Review: Is It Bump-Friendly for Maternity?

Quince’s Organic Cotton Gauze Tiered Maxi Dress isn’t technically a maternity style, but it’s in Quince’s bump-friendly category. That’s already a point in its favor, in my book – I’ll be able to keep wearing it postpartum, no problem.

Quince Cotton Gauze Tiered Maxi Dress for pregnancy

This is probably the comfiest dress I’ve ever worn, without exaggeration. The fabric is soft and light and weightless. I can just throw it on and feel ready to go! It looks super cute with my bump, but I think it will also be cute postpartum. It looks great by itself, and I also like to wear it with a linen shirt tied across the front for cooler evenings.

Many of the reviews state that the dress runs big and to size down. Granted, these reviews were mainly posted by non-pregnant people. I ordered the dress in two sizes, just to see. I got one in my normal, pre-pregnancy size (S) and I got one a size down (XS). The small fits beautifully over my 2nd and 3rd trimester bump. The XS is way too tight on my belly. I’d advise sticking to your normal pre-pregnancy size for this one!

I honestly have no complaints with this dress. It’s my favorite maternity item in my closet so far, and I’m ordering it in another color ASAP. 10/10, would recommend. Check it out here!

Quince Organic Cotton Maternity Overalls Review

I love these overalls. They’re really cute and comfy and easy to move in. They look great with my bump. I’m not positive that these will still look cute postpartum, but I think there’s a possibility that they will!

I also love the big pockets – I can easily stash tons of stuff in these.

It took me a little bit of experimenting to figure out how to tie the straps properly. In the product images published by Quince, the model just ties each strap into a little knot, sticks the knots through the holes in the back, and the knots support the weight of the overalls. When I tried this in real life, the overall straps came loose whenever I crouched down to pick up my toddler. The solution that I found was threading the straps through the holes and then tying them to each other in a little bow in the middle. It looks cute, and it stays up through everything. I can even throw the overalls in the washer and dryer this way and they come out still tied and ready to throw on!

These overalls are really versatile and look great with any basic maternity tee and topped by a linen shirt in cooler weather. Such an easy look!

Quince SuperSoft Fleece Maternity Over Belly Joggers Review

So Quince’s maternity joggers are the comfiest pants on Earth. I’m obsessed. I ordered them in my normal pre-pregnancy size, and they fit great over my belly. The fabric is butter-soft and so super warm. They’re great for lounging at home, running errands, or transiting through the airport. I also think, but can’t 100% confirm, that the waistband is elastic enough that I’ll still be able to wear them postpartum.

Because these pants are quite warm, they’re probably better for winter pregnancies than summer pregnancies. But if you’re ready to be cozy in cold-weather months, these are the pants for you!

Italian Maternity Two-Piece Tankini Swimsuit Review

The last thing I needed for my trip to Greece was a maternity swimsuit. I decided to try Quince’s Maternity Two Piece Tankini. Spoiler alert: I really like it!

This photo was taken late in my 2nd trimester.

Some of the reviews mention that the top can feel a little tight on the belly as pregnancy advances, so I ordered a size up from my usual non-maternity size. I’m currently early in my third trimester, and the swimsuit still fits well without feeling snug, so I think this was the right call!

This swimsuit is comfy and stays in place no problem, even when wrestling a toddler who isn’t quite yet ready to leave the beach. It’s also really cute!

Bonus: Quince 100% European Linen Pants for Maternity?

I bought and loved Quince’s classic linen pants before getting pregnant, and I wondered if they might just work as maternity pants, as well. Turns out, they do! The waistband is stretchy enough and the fabric is loose enough that I can wear them below my bump and they’re still totally comfortable! So, a bonus non-maternity item that also works great as maternity clothes!

Extremely Easy Free Returns

Quince has a fantastic returns policy. Unwashed and unworn items can be returned for literally 365 days, no questions asked, with a handy QR code. Most items even come in a resealable package that you can use for your returns, so no need to worry about packaging! And since shipping is always free, you can order worry-free and always return anything you don’t fall in love with.

My Overall Verdict on Quince’s Maternity Line

I’m super happy with the maternity clothes that I’ve tried so far from Quince, and I have my eye on a few more for the rest of the summer. Best shopping decision I’ve made so far this pregnancy, for sure! Check out Quince’s full maternity line!
